December 1st 2026
Reflective Records in collaboration with Lux Natura, present Soliton, a double LP of a previously unreleased live recording of Spacetime Continuum (Jonah Sharp) performing with Terence McKenna at San Francisco’s Great American Music Hall on October 31, 1993.
The performance followed the February 1993 collaboration that became Alien Dreamtime, the landmark live recording released by Astralwerks. On Halloween of 1993 Terence and Jonah took the stage again and together, reaching both backward and forward into time, they delivered a performance that was both darkly pagan and futurist. Three decades later, Jonah Sharp has now returned to this unheard material, restoring and reconstructing the audio while preserving the immediacy of the live performance.
Soliton is the first offering in a new Reflective archive series. This rare document of McKenna and Spacetime Continuum in performance arrives at a moment in time when people are looking back at the unique role of the Bay Area in the early 1990’s: a place in-between a vibrant psychedelic movement & a nascent internet/tech scene just beginning to effect massive social change. Soliton also features original cover artwork by visual artist Klea McKenna - Terence’s daughter, who has been carefully shepherding her father’s extensive archive. This is in essence a new collaboration between Mckenna, his family and Sharp.

The Archive Series is a planned collection of previously unreleased and archival recordings from artists associated with Reflective Records, Jonah Sharp’s pioneering San Francisco electronic music label. The series will draw on recordings that document the label’s artists, collaborations, performances and creative history, bringing material that has remained largely unheard into circulation.
Soliton is the first offering in the Reflective archive series: a rare document of Terence McKenna in performance, restored by his original collaborator and released more than three decades after it was recorded.
